Is shipping possible?
Yes, shipping is of course possible. After payment has been received, the Easy Exit will be ready for dispatch in about 3 weeks.
Can I install the Easy Exit myself?
Yes, the Easy Exit can be installed by handy individuals in less than 30 minutes. An easy-to-understand installation guide is included.
What do I need for installation?
You’ll need screws and Sikaflex for installation. The screws are included in the delivery. Only the Sikaflex needs to be purchased separately from a hardware store or online. Sikaflex is a durable, elastic, and very adhesive sealant commonly used in vehicle construction.
Can I use an additional foal grid?
No, but the trailer ramp closes 23 cm higher, so a foal grid can be replaced by the Easy Exit.
How heavy is the profile and how compatible is it with the gas struts?
The profile weighs about 20 kg. We recommend replacing the gas struts with ones that have an extension force of 2500 N (Newtons) to ensure easy opening and closing of the loading ramp.
What material is the Easy Exit made of?
The exit aid consists of a sturdy aluminum core coated with a rubber profile that provides good grip.
Which trailer models cannot be retrofitted with Easy Exit?
We can retrofit 96% of all trailers with Easy Exit, except “Ifor Williams horse trailers” and trailers that have a rear flap instead of a roll-up door (although the flap could be replaced with a roll-up door).
